BNS Section 141: Importation of girl or boy from foreign country

Whoever imports into 1 [India] from any country outside India 2 [or from the State of Jammu and Kashmir] any girl under the age of twenty-one years with intent that she may be, or knowing it to be likely that she will be, forced or seduced to illicit intercourse with another person, 3 *** shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to ten years and shall shall also be liable to fine.] Official footnote 1.
