Residential Rental Agreement

This Residential Rental Agreement is made between of (the “Landlord”) and of (the “Tenant”).

The Landlord and Tenant are individually a “Party” and together the “Parties”. The Parties agree as follows:

1. Premises

The Landlord lets to the Tenant the residential premises at , described as . The premises are and shall be used only for residential purposes by: .

2. Term and possession

The tenancy begins on ________________ and continues for , unless ended earlier in accordance with this Agreement. Possession and keys shall be handed over after receipt of the agreed deposit and initial rent.

3. Rent and payment

7. Inspection and access

Except in an emergency, the Landlord may inspect or arrange repairs after reasonable prior notice and at a reasonable time. The Tenant shall promptly report material damage, safety hazards or major repair needs.

8. Termination and handover

Either Party may terminate the tenancy by giving written notice, subject to applicable law. On termination the Tenant shall remove personal belongings, return keys, hand over peaceful vacant possession and cooperate in recording the condition and final meter readings.

Notices and jurisdiction

Written notices may be delivered to the addresses stated above or another address notified in writing. Courts and competent authorities at , , shall have jurisdiction subject to applicable law.
