(a): Details of total number of EVs sold in Assam and other Northeastern States under FAME-II scheme from 2022-23 to 2024-25, is as under:

(b): A total of 117 number of EV public charging stations (EVPCS) have been sanctioned and 88 EV PCS are operational in Assam under FAME-II Scheme, as on 01.07.2026.
(c): The FAME-II scheme was implemented on pan India basis and no state-wise allocation has been done under the scheme. Details of FAME subsidy disbursed to EV buyers for the EVs registered in the Northeastern States are as under :

In addition to the above, 198 EV chargers have been sanctioned in the Northeast Region and are being installed through Oil Marketing Companies. The number of chargers sanctioned are 117 in Assam, 29 in Meghalaya, 23 in Nagaland, 14 in Manipur, 7 in Mizoram, 5 in Tripura, and 3 in Arunachal Pradesh.
(d): As per information received from Ministry of Civil Aviation, there is no such framework under the recently launched Modified UDAN Scheme.
